The Beaver Watershed Alliance was formed in 2011 to establish programming to maintain high quality drinking water in Beaver Lake and improve water quality on the Beaver Lake Watershed. The Alliance represents a diverse stakeholder group from conservation, education, water utilities, technical and science, business, agriculture, recreation and local government groups working together for the cause of clean water.
Ozarks Water Watch at Beaver Lake is a program of Ozarks Water Watch. Based in Northwest Arkansas, Ozarks Water Watch at Beaver Lake monitors water quality in Beaver Lake and its watershed and provides watershed education to those who live, work, or play on Beaver Lake or in the Beaver Lake Watershed. The vision of Ozarks Water Watch is for everyone to value Beaver Lake and its watershed as a critical resource to the community for water supply, economic growth, and quality of life.
Permanent Land Protection for Northwest Arkansas. The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust is a nonprofit, non-governmental conservation organization that was founded in 2003 in response to the rapid development of our region. The land trust provides local, voluntary and permanent land protection services to landowners and municipalities who wish to forever conserve the special places that define our region.
