Why: The event recognizes National Drinking Water Week, which is May 5-11.

Details: Lane Crider, CEO of Beaver Water District, will officiate the event. Bill Watkins, Beaver Water District board president, will make special presentations to customer cities and guest speakers. Beaver Water District will showcase the Your Water For Life public service campaign. This year diversity and inclusion are in the spotlight. Guest speakers will include Al Lopez (a.k.a. Papa Rap) of One Community and Melisa Laelan, CEO of the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese. The public and media are invited to attend. Expect refreshments and a commemorative reusable water tumbler and straw.
