Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association-Annual Meeting

This meeting May 1-4 draws 2500 water and wastewater utility operators and others together for education to ensure they are up to date and knowledgeable. Since 1931 the common goal of the members of the Arkansas Water Works and Water Environment Association has been to provide clean water. The organization hosts an annual conference for those actively engaged in the design, management, operation and control of water works systems.

West Fork Watershed Cleanup

The Annual West Fork Watershed Cleanup is held to encourage caring volunteers to help pick up trash along tributaries and streams of the West Fork that flow to our drinking water source, Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas. Lakes Appreciation Month Cleanup

This annual cleanup is organized and hosted by Hobbs State Park and its partners. Headquartered at Hobbs State Park Visitor Center, volunteers and sponsors are needed. Cleanup supplies and lunch is provided. This is a great outing for families, scouts, church groups, clubs and other organizations. 11th Annual Secchi Day on Beaver Lake

The 11th Annual Secchi Day on Beaver Lake is set for Saturday, Aug. 20, at Prairie Creek. Link here for more information. Volunteer with your boat and help collect water samples and clarity readings.
